About Hawkiis farm
Holcombe Place was started back in the 1940's as a 60-acre cattle farm by Thomas Mozley, a well known
cattle trader. The old barn on the farm was entrusted to Steve Holcombe to maintain. After many years of
care, in January 2019, Rhonda & Steve Holcombe decided to tear it down and build a new barn for
the 10 acres, salvaging the old barn's tin, door's and wood and incorporating it into the new
barn, keeping the land's history alive.
As the Holcombe's began a new adventure as a wedding and event venue, they were missing only
one thing: a name. Renovations began on the property and the Holcombe's spent weeks wondering
what to call this new venue. For many years, hawks would fly in and hang around the barn
and property. Then suddenly one day, the hawks began flying in daily, as if they themselves
were blessing the land for this new venture. It was at that moment that this special piece of
property was named Hawkiis Farm at Holcombe Place.

Hawkiis Farm is a new, rustic-style barn and multi-use venue that is perfect for your wedding or special
event. The first wedding was held for our daughter on September 28, 2019. Our barn features a beautiful
bridal suite that includes a shower, and we also offer a groom's saloon that includes a bar on the property, a prep kitchen with commercial cooler and warmer, a beautiful bar with swings, and three stalls with indoor/outdoor carpet to use as well.
